EasyLobby®, Inc. Demonstrates Full Integration With NexWatch
Integrated Visitor Management/Access Control System being Demonstrated at Buildings NY Show
Needham, Mass. - June 10, 2003 - - EasyLobby®, the industry leader in secure visitor management and badging solutions, , in partnership with PEI Systems, today began demonstrating a fully integrated implementation between EasyLobby’s SVMTM 6.0 visitor management software and NexWatch’s access control system, using EasyLobby’s advanced API (application programming interface).
Visitors to PEI’s booth are checked in using EasyLobby’s visitor management system by reading their driver’s license or scanning their business card. A photo of the visitor is taken, and a customized badge is printed by EasyLobby with the visitor’s name, photo, and a unique barcode. At the same time the badge is printed, information about the visitor is seamlessly passed through the API over the network to NexWatch’s SQL Server database, authorizing that visitor for a specific date and time period. The visitor then swipes their badge through a barcode reader on a NexWatch controlled revolving door (or turnstile), and is granted or denied access based on the date and time (for the show, visitor badges are authorized in EasyLobby to be valid for a two-hour period after check-in). As an added security feature, NexWatch then displays each authorized visitor’s name and photo on a large monitor as they exit the revolving door on the other side.
