 Latest Access Control Integrations
access control
Several new integrations of EasyLobby SVM with leading access control systems have recently been completed by our engineering group.

The new integrations include:
  • Software House C-Cure 9000
  • DVTel Longitude IP Access Control module (IPAC)
  • TAC (soon to be Schneider Electric) Andover Continuum CyberStation
These access control integrations with EasyLobby SVM provide our joint customers with a high level of control over visitor and contractor access. It allows our customers the ability to quickly and easily grant card access to those visitors that require it without the need for guards or lobby staff to interact with the access control system.

EasyLobby is integrated with most of the leading access control systems. Here's the complete list.

EasyLobby SVM Certified by Lenel's Access Control System

EasyLobby has received Lenel certification for the integration of SVM version 9 with Lenel's OnGuard version 6.0 and 6.1 Access Control System.

EasyLobby has been a certified member of Lenel's OPenAccess Alliance Program since 2004, including OnGuard versions 5.11 and 5.12. The integration enables visitors and contractors to be given temporary card acess so that a loaned proximity card or a barcoded visitor badge printed from EasyLobby SVM can open a door, turnstile, or activate an elevator controlled by OnGuard.

Lenel is part of UTC Fire & Security, a United Technologies Corp. business unit.

 Tech Tip
Enlarging EasyLobby Visitor Screens on Your Monitor

In some cases our customers have monitors in which EasyLobby windows appear too small to be comfortably viewed, either because the monitor is too small or because the screen resolution is not optimum.

Under both these scenarios the pixel density per square area has increased to a level where it is not comfortable to view material on the screen. In technical terms the screen has a large DPI-age. A number in excess of 100 - 120 DPI results in a screen that is difficult to read.

You can correct this problem in the Windows operating system. However, it means that EasyLobby, as well as all other programs, will be resized. You may want to test it to see the effect in other programs.

To apply the global magnification, right click on an empty area of the desktop and click on properties. Select the settings tab in the menu and choose the advance button. Change the DPI setting from Normal Size (96 DPI) to Large Size (125 DPI). Click OK. Follow the prompts. You can safely select the option which does not require the Windows install CD.

You will need to restart your computer for this to take effect. Once restarted, the new magnification will be in effect. The EasyLobby individual Visitor Screens will increase to 800 x 620 from the normal size of 640 x 490. Look at the various EasyLobby screens to be sure you can view them properly. To revert to the old small version, repeat the process, but select 96 DPI, or normal size.

You can also apply a custom setting measuring tool, which allows you to find out your monitor's optimum DPI. Under the DPI setting, select custom setting, then drag the virtual ruler with the mouse, and use an actual ruler to match the virtual ruler with the physical ruler. When they match exactly, click OK. Your monitor's exact DPI-age (or pixel density per area square) will be automatically calculated for you.

Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
