FDA Bioterrorism

In late 2004 the FDA issued their Final Rule on the Establishment and Maintenance of Records to Enhance the Security of the U.S. Food Supply Under the Bioterrorism Act.  By requiring ‘persons who manufacture, process, pack, transport, distribute, receive, hold, or import food to establish and maintain records’, the FDA specifically requires companies to be aware of every visitor who comes in and out of their facilities.
